Hi I am in the market for a rather cheap watch. I found a Festina chronograph for roundabout 200€ Is this a good budget brand or rather something to… The NAOS 33mm watches, the Levin watch an the Asthet Lumare show that they do good design. I like Nomos too, but for now it's out of my league and Sternglas doesn't even feel like second tier. The name seemed a bit random, not your typical father-to-son craftsmen workshop with a long heritage or super exclusive brand. 2. pockets-of-soup. β€’ 2 yr. ago. Any watch that makes you happy is fine, the reason fashion watches are looked down upon, is the time to design and materials spent are very low. Often they will have cheep quartz movements, mineral crystal or plastic and a band stamped genuine leather. 3. Rambotrip. β€’ 2 yr. ago. [Festina] This is my very first watch, I recently found it after many years, it is mechanical and I reckon it's late 60s. I can't find anything about it anywhere. Festina is an established low cost entry type brand to mechanical watches. The one you have here looks to have a Miyota 82S0 movement which is a cheap but reliable workhorse no date version of the typical 8215 family. You're not getting haute horology for your money but if you like the look of it you're likely not buying a lemon at least. Pagani's a decent homage brand to my understanding. Invicta is better. Steinhardt tops both of them but is also around 500 while Invicta and Pagani is around 100. I recently got an Invicta Pro Diver 8926OB which is an homage to the Rolex Submariner without trying to fake being a Rolex. Very clear it's an Invicta. This is sometimes due to seals within the watch failing or if submerged in water with the crown out. 2. Physical Damage (aka Impact Damage) When you use your hands daily and for almost everything, some physical damage can be expected with watches. Most light bumps will only cause aesthetic damage, however a significant impact such as dropping Van Cleef & Arpels. Founded in: 1906 | Price Range: $7,800-$448,000 | Made in: France. Van Cleef & Arpels's Alhambra motif has been a coveted status symbol since its invention in 1968. This watch aIRAmy.
